Japanese Scroll 2

Traditional scroll beginning twentieth century, 45 x 112 cm.

Bought from an antiquarian in Deddington near Banbury, GB, in 2016. No more than number 1 it contains a haiku but it represents the haiku spirit: 真実一路 = shin-jitsu ichiro: “Truth only one path”, means: there is only one path, that of sincerity.
